Watering Instructions: Two Plants, Two Watering Routines
One of the main things to remember with this planter is that poinsettias and orchids have different water needs:
Poinsettia - Poinsettias are thirstier than orchids and require frequent watering to keep their vibrant red bracts looking their best. For your poinsettia, water at the base of the leaves with 1/4 cup of water daily. Avoid pouring water over the bark, as this can cause the bark to retain too much moisture, which isn’t ideal for the orchid sharing the planter.
Phalaenopsis Orchid - Orchids are low-water plants, and they require much less than poinsettias. Water your orchid at the base of its leaves with 1/4 cup of water once a week. Like the poinsettia, it’s best to avoid soaking the bark.
Perfect Lighting - Indirect & Bright

Temperature: Keep It Warm and Cozy
Both the poinsettia and orchid are tropical plants and prefer warm, stable environments. For optimal growth, keep the planter in a room with temperatures between 18-25°C (64-77°F). Cold drafts, extreme temperature fluctuations, or temperatures below 18°C may affect the poinsettia’s vibrant color and the longevity of the orchid blooms.

A Seasonal Showstopper with Long-lasting Appeal
With its rich red poinsettia bracts and elegant orchid blooms, this holiday planter is truly a showpiece that can last well beyond the festive season. The poinsettia typically stays in bloom for 4-6 weeks, perfect for carrying you through the holiday period. Meanwhile, your orchid’s blooms can last up to 4 months with the right care, providing continued beauty long into the New Year.
